Last updated: October 25, 2026. SliceCode (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to safeguarding the privacy and integrity of your personal information.
1. Overview & Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to our website (slicecode.in), client communications, quotation requests, and proprietary software applications. We comply with applicable Indian information technology laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
2. Information We Collect
- Contact & Inquiry Information: Name, work email address, phone number, company/organization name, and project requirements submitted voluntarily via our contact, quotation, or brochure forms.
- Technical & Log Data: Anonymized IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, and page interaction timestamps gathered strictly for security rate-limiting and performance optimization.
- Lead Inquiries: Details entered into our interactive estimators or project planners to generate service proposals.
3. Desktop Software Data Privacy (SliceCode Offline Billing)
Our desktop software products (such as the SliceCode Offline Billing Software) are engineered with an offline-first architecture. All financial transactions, invoices, customer records, and patient medical visit histories are stored strictly on your local computer via an encrypted local SQLite database. SliceCode does not host, upload, access, synchronize, or harvest your clinic or store records to any external cloud server.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use collected data solely to:
- Provide requested proposals, architectural consultations, and software quotations.
- Deliver, maintain, and support custom software development agreements.
- Prevent automated spam, rate-limit abuses, and malicious network activity.
- Meet statutory and tax accounting obligations under Indian jurisdiction.
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal or commercial contact information to third-party advertisers or data brokers.
5. Data Retention & Security
We employ standard industry security protocols, including HTTPS encryption in transit, strict HTTP security headers (HSTS, X-Content-Type-Options, X-Frame-Options), and isolated server stores. We retain inquiry contact details only as long as necessary to fulfill business engagements or as required by statutory law.
6. Your Rights
Under the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to request access to your stored personal data, request correction or rectification, and request erasure of your data from our internal inquiry logs. To exercise any of these rights, contact our privacy desk.
